Denim Expert Limited has taken a significant step towards combating human trafficking and ensuring safe migration by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Winrock International Institute for Agricultural Development, a U.S.-based organization funded by the USAID.

The aim of this collaboration is to jointly address areas related to awareness activities, prevention of human trafficking, and the provision of job opportunities for low-skilled survivors and individuals vulnerable to trafficking. By creating employment opportunities and promoting awareness, DEL strives to empower survivors, break the cycle of exploitation, and make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by human trafficking, aligning with their core values of social responsibility and commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable society.

Denim Expert Limited has been actively involved with the globally recognized HERproject™ by Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) since 2016, aimed at unlocking the full potential of women in global supply chains. Through this program, the company has brought together global brands, suppliers, and local NGOs to drive impact for women through workplace-based interventions on health, financial inclusion, and gender equality.

The HERproject™ team arranged a comprehensive training program comprising six modules. This initiative has raised awareness significantly, with 65% improvement in personal hygiene, 55% in nutritious food habits, 60% in family planning, 80% in sexual diseases, and 45% in serious illnesses, empowering female employees and fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment.
